They’re back! The Expedition206 team—Kelly, Tony and Antonio—have returned from their 365-day expedition to seek out and document what makes people happy around the world. Here’s a webcast with the team just after returning to Atlanta where they cut the ribbon on a new exhibit at the World of Coke. The exhibit features The Happiness Exchange bottles, a pay-it-forward program conceived by Iconologic, in which every country designs a bottle that
expresses their idea of happiness. We also just completed design of 50 hand-made bottles, below, commemorating the successful trip.

“It has become, arguably, the single most successful public relations event in The Coca-Cola Company’s 125-year history," says Clyde Tuggle, Senior VP, Global Public Affairs & Communications, The
Coca-Cola
Company. “640 million media impressions. Incredible.” Expedition206 is a 365-day event involving three youngsters who are traveling to 206 countries in search of happiness. Iconologic helped conceptualize the program and all the ways it could
engage people online and in the world. We also developed its identity
and theme—Happiness Goes Around—and expanded these elements throughout a
full visual identity system. We’re happy to have played a part in making it happen.

Recently, our
client, FutureMedia at Georgia Tech, hosted its second
annual conference—a four-day, hands-on exploration of
the new ways content is being created, distributed and consumed. The
event (which debuted the group's identity and look we designed) drew heavy
hitter speakers and attendees from every sector, including AT&T,
Google, The Economist, National Geographic, Cisco, Turner, and
the Academy-Award®-team of Avatar effects creators. The
cornerstone of the event was the presentation of the FutureMedia Outlook—a
look at the six technology trends that will most impact the way we
live and what we do. Check out CNN's coverage.
